Steamed Tofu with Fish Roe and Nyonya Sauce

 

Serves: 4-6       

 

 

Ingredients

 

  • 1 tbsp Golden Circle Canola Oil
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 2 shallots, chopped
  • 20g ginger, chopped
  • 1 green chilli, deseed and chop
  • 1 red chilli, deseed and chop
  • 1 tsp fermented soya bean paste
  • 300g FORTUNE Japanese Silken Tofu Omega 3
  • some fish roe 

  

Miso Saurce

  • 100 radish
  • 1 tbsp miso
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1/2 pcs fermented bean curd
  • 1 tbsp sugar

 

Seasoning

  • 1 calamansi, extract juice
  • 1 tsp sugar 

 

Directions

  1. Prepare Nyonya Sauce: Heat up Golden Circle Canola Oil. Add chopped garlic, shallots, ginger, all chillies and fermented soya bean paste. Stir-fry until fragrant. Season with calamansi juice and sugar.
  2. Place FORTUNE Japanese Silken Tofu Omega 3 on plate. Drizzle with Nyonya Sauce. Steam for 10 mins.
  3. Garnish with fish roe and serve hot.
